Lazy weekend and the 4 days of 4 miles

I was supposed to do 4 miles on Saturday but skipped it thinking I'd just make up for it on Sunday. Then I ran out of time on Sunday so had to skip it again. Now to make up for it I'm going to have to lose a rest day this week which means today was the start of 4 days running 4 miles. I will have one rest day on Friday before attempting 12 miles on Saturday.
Today's run didn't go very well as my left shin started hurting within the first 5 minutes. It also appears that the gym air conditioning could be malfunctioning again as it was rather warm. My heart rate was up to 170 before I'd even done 20 minutes. Usually its barely above 150 by 20 minutes. When the right shin started hurting at around 25 minutes I knew it wouldn't be long before I'd have to slow down. At around 31 minutes I slowed to a walk. Then I did a couple of quick bursts to complete the 4 miles in 41 minutes. Hopefully tomorrow won't be quite so bad.
